EBRA STUDBOOK
There is a place for nearly every Brabant within one of our three registry designations.
The European Brabant Stock Studbook is for horses that have a minimum of 47% verifiable European Brabant heritage, and lineage from other heavy draft breeds.
The European Brabant Studbook designation is reserved for approved, >93.75% (15/16) purebred horses. These may be imported horses from the EBRA’s list of approved European studbooks, offspring of purebred EBRA registered parents.
The Appendix Brabant Record is designed to track and record draft crosses with 23.5% or more verifiable European Brabant heritage. Within this category, there is no limitation on progenitor draft breeds, conformation, or color.

The mission of the European Brabant Registry of America is to preserve and maintain purebred European Brabants through the use of existing registry information, ancestry tracing, and DNA profiles of imported European Brabants and their offspring, thereby providing enthusiasts and breeders the ability to search for and register purebred horses.
MEET THE BOARD
The all-volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of European Brabant horse owners who are elected by their peers to represent the voting Membership, keep the Registry on mission, achieve goals and establish policies. They develop long-range plans and strategies to ensure financial stability and strength of the organization.
